We opened our doors and hearts in January of 2023 with a passion for all things craft beverage, hospitality, and inclusivity.  We want you to enjoy yourself always, but especially while visiting our space.  Be authentically you, and know deeply that you belong.  Deviant is for everyone.  Always.  We only ask that while you’re here, you treat our staff, guests, and yourself with kindness, dignity and respect.  Community is everything, and ours is immaculately diverse.

Our list of offerings is only just beginning to display the diversity we intend to settle into.

We may never settle into a well worn rut, but we are certainly finding our groove.  So take a seat wherever you’re most comfortable, peruse the menu, and begin the journey from golden ale to fruited sour to nonconformist dark ale to rye whiskey.  We hope you find something that speaks to you, and we hope you return often enough to appreciate the ever evolving and chaotic process of creativity.  We have so much more in store and cannot wait to present it to your refined palettes and the lips that guard them.

Be sure to check our events calendar, as there may be an act coming through that you simply cannot miss, or conversely you may be hoping for a more simple tasting room experience that is less easily afforded with whatever live music may be happening at the time.  
 
Brewery tours are available upon request whenever a brewer is here.  This establishment is brewer owned and operated, and our owner is in far more often than not.

Tim Ogden

Deviant Libation was founded by 20 year Tampa brewery veteran Tim Ogden. While best known for big sticky stouts and porters, Tim has a penchant for golden ales, IPAs and fruited sour in addition to an array of nonbinary beverages that, while perhaps don’t fit well in a defined category, are sure to please many.
 
They wanted to open a place a little less typical to house these beverages that are often also a little less typical.  Something with appeal to more groups than a typical brewery may appeal to.  A space for the hardcore kids, the punks, the queer community; a space built with women in mind, as well as men, and nonbinary folks.  Where members of the trans community feel safe and welcome just as much as anyone else.  A place that could be an experience.
 
After making key contributions to brands like Cigar City Brewing and Tampa Bay Brewing Company, it became time to launch this dream, using their own hands and will to manifest a reality with the help of community.
